Additional funding opportunities for postdocs!

Listed below are funding opportunities for postdoctoral fellowships and open positions to work on one of my funded projects. I would love to write a grant with you or help you apply for a fellowship that will allow you to work in my lab. Writing grants together and fellowships are particularly rewarding as these will allow you to develop your own area of research that can be taken with you when you leave the lab. You will also learn the keys to successful grant writing during the process! The work has to be related to a skill or research area in my lab.

Cornell CIHMID Postdoctoral Fellows Program - DUE in December last year

CIHMID offers financial support and professional development opportunities for postdoctoral scholars studying host-microbe interactions. CIHMID postdocs are supported in developing independent and interdisciplinary research programs in collaboration with two or more labs at Cornell. Supported postdocs are expected to have intellectual ownership of their projects and may use their support to build bridges across different disciplines of study. Studied host-microbe interactions may be pathogenic or beneficial; microbial partners may be bacterial, viral, or fungal; eukaryotic hosts may be animal or plant. Supporting a diverse portfolio of research systems and questions is an explicit goal of the training program.
